Applications in Hazardous Environments
ATEX magnetic proximity sensors are essential in industries where explosive atmospheres may be present. Typical applications include:
- Petroleum & fuel distribution: detection of nozzle positioning or system status
- Chemical industry: monitoring of equipment in solvent-rich environments
- Paint and coating processes: control of mixers and moving parts
- Bulk storage (dust environments): position detection in silos or handling systems
These sensors ensure reliable detection without generating sparks, significantly reducing ignition risks.
